You can also cut clear self-adhesive shelf paper to size, print on it, and use that as a stencil. Worked great for me in the past.
I used laminate shelf liner, which seems to be basically the same and costs much less. It's worked great for me. I got it from Amazon (link below) but available at Target or home Depot too I'm sure. I would go with something narrower than the 18" as it tended to curl a lot when sticking it on.
