Looking at the Amazon listing, you’d need the following:
Frankly, though, if I were you I’d start off with a lower end starter pack. The Eachine E013 is in roughly the same size class but comes with a simple transmitter and a simple pair of goggles for ~$100. You’ll still have to get more batteries and a better charger, but it would be easier on your wallet and more forgiving as a new pilot.
I've seen a few things like that. Redpawz is a new one for me, but I've seen Crazepony sell stuff like this.
From what I've read, Eachine is not making this stuff. They're just a familiar brand whose label gets slapped on stuff designed and produced by other Chinese brands. This is one of the reasons why they have so many products that seem so close. Maybe the EV800 is made by one company while the VR D2 is made by another. And the Wizard x220 uses Racerstar ESCs that are labeled Eachine.
So, the question is, are these companies like Crazepony and Redpawz buying from Eachine
crazepony goggles with eachine name
crazypony goggles without eachine name
same goggles with makerfire name
lastly, here is the eachine branded E013 bundle on amazon. you may want to buy these if you are ok paying the $35 premium.
I don’t have any personal experience with it, but check out this clone of the Inductrix FPV. I like the fact that it comes with actual goggles and not just a screen. I understand that Chinese copies will always be cheaper, but I still think the Inductrix is criminally overpriced.
If you want something sportier that can rip around in the backyard, look at the Emax Babyhawk or Babyhawk R. You’ll still need a radio & receiver, goggles, batteries and a charger. Babyhawks are extremely capable little quads!
