If you want the best game performance for the price, these are slightly over but probably the best value, with the 6GB GTX 1060 and also IPS / 72% NTSC displays.
There are a handful of GTX 1060 laptops that use mediocre TN displays with poor contrast and viewing angles (worse than decent desktop TN displays) that I might suggest to skip, unless you're perhaps getting a really good deal and are planning to replace the LCD yourself. They also use the 3GB 1060 which isn't bad but is lower performance in ways other than memory.
EDIT: I'll also add, the Lenovo Y720's display isn't nearly as bad as these low quality TN panels, but is only 45% NTSC color gamut, and the meh color saturation could be a downer.

A GTX 1060 should be well more than enough for the last three you listed, but ARK seems to be particularly intensive for some reason, and brief googling indicated that a GTX 1060 6GB is where you want to be for that game. If you want cheaper options with the next step down in GPU I can make recommendations for that as well.
My top two options would be this first and then this second although this one is plastic it still feels sturdy, both have very good build quality, good value for money, and good upgrade options.
With that budget and considering that you want to run games as well as you value build quality, this Eluktronics P650RP6 Premium VR Ready Gaming Laptop with the powerful GTX 1060 graphics card, i7 quad core processor, 8 GB RAM and nice storage with a 1 TB HDD plus fast 128 GB SSD, will do a fantastic job for you. I start out by saying, this laptop will easily run those games you mentioned at 1080p on max settings and play far more demanding games. It will a very good system for school as well and the good thing is that it doesn't have that full gaming appearance- thus, is ideal for professional environment as well. The next important thing is it's build quality...It has a full Clevo chassis which should say a lot about it's build quality as Clevo frames are some of the best on the market.
That is a nice laptop. A lot of people have recommened different laptops but all have very similar features. For example, the guy above recommenced this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZ6BBOM
which is from what I can tell very similar. How can I decide between laptops? From what I can tell, yours has 16 gb of ram and the other 8. Does this make a large difference?
