I can't compare them to Pyrex. But when I use my cylindrical plastic containers for hot soup I have the devil of a time to get it off due to vacuum.
Their boxes are airtight and have never leaked on me. I've used them in the freezer and in the microwave and have done so for years. No deformation, always in the dish washer. No problems.
Edit: Those are all plastic. Not glass. German company. So I guess you should be able to simply pick them up at a shop near you.
Try, if Amazon.de will deliver to you..
