I just bought a GTX 670 Superclocked, and it's a fantastic card. Even with this, however, I usually sit around 20-30 FPS in heated WvW sieges with the settings somewhere between high and medium. I suspect my CPU (Core i7 920 first gen @ 2.67 GHz) is the bottleneck, but I'm not sure how to overlock it so I can't confirm either way...

HOLY HAND GRENADES

I'm down with EVGA's 4GB Superclocked Edition.

SLI doesn't help X-Plane: you lose too much performance to the overhead of keeping the texture loads synced between the cards. I've got a this 670 GTX, which, far as I can tell, will fit just fine.

Here's the rig itself

Took out the 2 780s and went with a single gtx680 lightning then 2 670 4gb now since I stopped playing much, but I will soon get 2 other high-end cards from either this or next generation. Made a few other changes as listed.
