Hopefully there's a docking station available for your laptop model so you can just conveniently drop your laptop in whenever you want to hook up.
It depends on what you have on the back of your computer. You'll need one end of the cord to be HDMI, and that end goes into your tv. The other end needs to fit a port on your computer. I don't believe that USB will be an option.Your computer most likely has vga output on the rear.
It looks like you'd need something like this to get your computer working on the HDMI.Alternatively, if you have a DVI output, you can get a DVI to HDMI cable or adapter. It should be noted that DVI has to forms: DVI-D and DVI-A; DVI-Digital and DVI-Analog, respectively. Be careful which one you purchase if you go down the DVI route.Edit: Actually ignore all of this, I totally misread your title and post. Other people here seem to know more about RCA than I do, so follow their advice.
You can use a converter/adapter like this, which will allow you to connect a display using HDMI input such as a TV or monitor. Keep in mind that because the output is VGA you will not have audio over the HDMI cable like if you were connected via HDMI output, so if you connect to a TV with the adapter, you will not get audio through HDMI. Also keep in mind that the max supported resolution for something like this is 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz.
Edit: Updated link to correct adapter/converter. Apparently this one also has audio connections in the adapter as well, to support audio over HDMI by using the motherboard's integrated audio outputs.
Look into a VGA-Component cable (assuming your TV supports component in)
