I’m still pretty new to reiki as I’ve been practicing for almost 6 months now. I had so many questions when I started and that book helped immensely. It also has a lot of reiki exercises you can do, including hatsurei ho. One thing that I’m trying to focus on in my own practice is to let go of the egoic need to “do something”. My understanding of reiki is that your not doing reiki, so much as you are trying to be present and be an empty vessel for reiki to flow through you.
So anyway it’s probably normal. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the experiences as they happen.
