I'm not sure if you are choosing these cases primarily based on design and looks or if you're focus is on getting a budget case but since these aren't very known companies i would suggest going with a case such as the Fractal Design Core 1100 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Computer-Cases/Fractal-Design-Core-1100-Micro/B00KXXZS74/).

Heh I have the HAF X could fit a small family inside, 14kg of steel....wish it didn't weigh so bloody much!

Case size recently has become less of an issue thankfully, I fit a Sapphire Toxic R9 270X (longer than my MSI R9 390 by about an inch) in this http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KXXZS74/?tag=pcp0f-21 it's a tiny little thing half the size of my case. What you need to look at is the length of the GPU you're buying then see what cases you like and check if it will fit.

Some cases you might have to remove the hard drive bays to make them fit, have you seen any cases you like the look of? Link them and I'll try and help you size them up

Edit: Just checked the size difference of an MSI 970 vs 390 and yeah it's less than a centimeter, I do love people saying AMD cards are 'huge beasts' compared to nvidia...

I built a similar system last time I upgraded my PC (though with a GTX 660i and the previous generation Intel Core i5). I was lucky because I already had a nice case. Those things can be costly.

You may still be able to find a cheaper case. Consider a microATX case as they can be cheaper than the miniITX ones and still fit the smaller motherboard.
