People have already said it and I'm going to agree with them. As long as the mattress you have now is still good, just get a topper for it. When the whole mattress needs to be replaced, look into investing into a quality memory foam mattress then. In the meantime, save some money.

Toppers come in various densities that affect the quality of it. Higher the density the better usually. We bought this one about 8 months ago and are (so far) very happy with it.
