Not at all. You have powered monitors, so there is hardly any harmonic distortion from your DAC, limiting will most definitely either be the turntable or the quality of the vinyl.
However, if you want to record then you need an Audio Interface instead of a dedicated DAC. Something with ADC and DAC.
Next, to connect the turntable to powered studio monitors without using a standard home amplifier you'll need a dedicated phono preamp.
A phono preamp with two line level outputs then an audio interface with two line inputs and three outputs (stereo + sub) is the minimum to look for if you want to record.
I think this might actually be a better option, though. It's a phono preamp, headphone amp, ADC and USB audio I/O interface.
