Hey, just finishing up mine actually! I'm going for the pink and white version, with sparkly glitter helmet and gloves for extra fabulous.

Great start with the helmet. As long as it's comfortable, that's all that matters. You can scupt the falcon sigil out of air-drying clay like I did. For the eyes/visor, I ordered this. What you'll need to do is use any kind of easily removable tape and trim it on the glasses to the shape of his triangle eyes. After that, you can spray paint the visor with either matte or gloss black spraypaint. Peel off the tape and voila, the shiny reflective eyes are yours. And you'll be able to see just fine.

As for the collar, you can use foam. For the gloves, order these asap because I paid the full price of $30 and they're on sale for $9. They are some pretty sporty looking gloves, perfect for Captain Falcon.

For the fabric of his outfit, if you're not familiar with sewing your own body suit, you could order sports performance fabric like Underarmor, or just buy a white zentai suit and cut off the head portion.

The knee pads and guards you can pick up at any thrift store usually, or you can construct the shin guards out of foam. The shoes can be done by painting some slip-on loafer shoes.
