The Nvidia based Gigabyte 1650 does not require a 6-pin.

Gigabyte also made no 6 pin RX 460 cards if you prefer AMD while MSI reportedly made a no 6 pin RX 560 which is suitable for SFF..

I've personally used both the Gigabyte RX460 4gb and the Gigabyte 1650
4gb cards without 6-pins and they perform nicely.

A summary of lower power consumption GPU's is here.

A new card offering from AMD is rumored to be announced very soon arriving, but it is too early to determine what the specs are and whether there will be a no 6 pin offering.

$40 is a pretty hard price point to meet though. OP would likely have to wait for a used model and honestly there are not many no-six pin cards to choose from. Many manufacturers add the six-pin to get a marginal performance increases.

A few different options:

https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-GeForce-Graphics-Windforce-Gv-N1650OC-4GD/dp/B07QHGKC2D

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PH-GTX1060-3G-GeForce-Phoenix-Graphics/dp/B07JZ98WJ2

https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-ZT-P10600A-10L-Compact-Graphics/dp/B07SLKXR6S

Those are all viable options but some are a tiny bit more than 150$. If u can I would wait and get a 1660 for close to 200$ ISD but if you are in desperate need of a card then just get a 1650 as that will work fine for you. Remember that the mini versions of the cards are a bit louder than the normal versions as they have to work harder. And also a good feature with the 1650 is that it needs no external power. All you need to do is put it in the motherboard and your done!

I hope this helps u!

The cheapest new pre-built I can really recommend is this:

It's a little outside the budget.

That said, here's a solution I was sharing with someone earlier. It's not as simple as just getting a pre-built, but it's close. This is cut and pasted from a conversation. Sorry if any of it is phrased weirdly.

We're limited in which video cards we can use here because the PSU doesn't support the separate power connector. All power must be drawn from the PCI-E slot. Everything in there is fine. You just can't do much to upgrade it. I think there's one SATA part open, one RAM slot and one PCI-E slot open.

I think the RX560 is great if your monitor has freesync, but the GTX 1650 is slightly more powerful overall.

You're looking at about $500 going this route. However, if you update it at all, the value proposition here goes to crap, and you're better off saving and getting something a little better from the start.

Be sure to update your BIOS before you swap out the CPU, which can be found here: https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/vostro-410/drivers

I think the cooler is proprietary. The original should be able to cool the CPU though. Im talking a guess that the case fan is 120mm and the CPU is 92mm. Might have to ask around about the heatsink.

Bam. Just got yourself a decent gaming rig.

Total cost: About $415

If you can't get a refund from the seller, I'd highly recommend either - a GTX 1650 ($160 new) - this will just slot right in, will work fine with the power supply and everything else in your system https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-GeForce-Graphics-Windforce-Gv-N1650OC-4GD/dp/B07QHGKC2D/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=1650&qid=1570763173&sr=8-1

or an AMD RX570 ($120) https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-Graphics-Black-RX-570P427D6/dp/B06ZXY43VC/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=570&qid=1570763282&sr=8-2.

This AMD card will result in better performance, but will require an upgraded power supply (and some plug-and-play rewiring) like this to function - ($50) https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-WHITE-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=pc+power+supply&qid=1570763339&sr=8-7
