this isnt rly helpful to *applying* the liner specifically but it can def help the process!
try using a flat, angled eyeshadow brush (something shaped like this: https://www.amazon.com/Glow-Flat-Angled-Makeup-Brush/dp/B00WGSJN4I) to clean up any uneven, squiggly, or just plain wonky lines by wetting it w just a little bit of makeup remover. whenever i do wings i make the best effort i can to get them perfect and then go in w this sort of brush to sharpen lines by running it across the edges of the wing. once u get the hang of it it works like an eraser without ruining your whole look :) good luck! โค
