Batteries that put out full charging current aren't going to be cheap. You're looking at something like this:

You're not going to find a "wall" charger with enough output.

My parents have a couple water filter pumps and a month's worth of food in the form of Mountain House and MREs. My dad also grows a bit of small garden for some fresh veggies. Plenty of camping gear, a bunch of propane for lamps and propane stove. A few guns a bow as well.

I'd say that's plenty of stuff, but I'd probably get rechargeable AA/AAA batteries, a charger for them and some good flashlights as well as a battery powered radio. They have things like this which you can use with one of these to keep all your electronics charged if you don't have access to electricity.

That's all I can think of off-hand.

Ugh. A cheaper option than a generator might be a battery pack. We got this one for my husband's CPAP when he went camping, and it lasted him two nights.

I wonder if you could also get those Mountain House freeze-dried meals and blend them up ahead of time and then just add water when you need to feed him.

You may be better off with a small generator. They often have smaller/very quiet ones that would provide enough power for a grill.

You may be interested in this, I am not sure how long it would provide power, or anything.

I was looking at the 150 model and it seems comparably priced with other things in the range. There's stuff that's cheaper but the Goal Zero seems to have better overall ratings.

You probably don't need dedicated solar panels or even an inverter if all you want is lights. The first link below is for a lantern that's charged with either the built in solar panel or via USB. These are pretty popular among campers and van dwellers. I think 2 or 3 of these should be sufficient.

If you are running other things that require AC power (like TV or laptop charger), then you could get a portable power pack. If this is a 1 or 2 day festival, then you could probably get by without even recharging it. But if you have access to an AC outlet, then you can recharge it that way or if you really want, then get a solar panel but I think it's unnecessary unless you plan on doing this at festivals in the middle of nowhere with no power.

Goal Zero makes very simple to use solar generators. Pricey.

92W for 3-4 hours is a big battery. There's a 400 watt-hour battery pack with integrated inverter for $400 on amazon:

The reviews aren't stellar so you'll have to look carefully. I noticed that one of the posts on it specifically talks about using it for portability with a BIPAP/CPAP machine:

"have a ResMed 9S BIPAP machine. I bought the Yeti 400 specifically for the use with my machine while at Boy Scout Summer Camp. Without using the humidifier (camp was hot and humid) I got three full nights of use on my machine. After the three nights, I had about 30% left. I took it to the camp office, plugged it in to recharge and lasted me the rest of camp. This also included having my iPhone and a Blackberry 10 Phone charging. And to top it off, I had two "Light a Life" lanterns that were used. I absolutely love this thing. I could have gone the DIY route, but I have no clue when it comes to amps, etc. All I have to do with my ResMed 9S is plug it into the battery and life is good."
