Guide to Getting it On is a great sex ed book--should be in every High School Library if I had any say in it.

our situations are pretty similar im 44, been with wife for 18 years. classic deadbedroom though she has had a ton of health problems the last 10 years and is finally good. we recently went through the same discovery. it was all done by me but it was me that was the problem (other than the health stuff).

i reach a point i realized i didn't like what we had become and i decided to change. I realized that after talking with a close friend who had lost her husband recently.

i learn by reading so

• i read all of the sexuality/relationships stuff on medium. yes, all of it. (i read and absorb really fast)
  
• i started reading alot of books. These are what ive read the past 6 weeks or so.

    i sat my wife down and told her i wanted to change and then we have been working it for the past 6 weeks or so. i started talking and initiating all the time with her. i stoped hiding my real feelings and emotions. i accepted i was bisexual (that was a big thing for me). i started showing her how much care instead of just telling here. i do things like give her foot masages (Shes on her feet all day). we started talking about what we like sexual and working on it together.
    
    the response has been beyond anything i had hoped. she started buying sexy things again. things she was minding she no longer does (like feeling parts of her anatomy randomly) . she has started exercising again. (without me pushing her to do so, i love her no matter what she looks like weight wise) .
