Awesome, I have no problem spending a little more for the Tristar or Intelliflo as long as the cost savings is there to support it.

Part of the installation our pool servicers offer is a configuration of the pump for best efficiency so they'll take care of the speeds for us.

The following pumps are all $25 dollars within each other in price.

Which do I need? I have an old dial timer and plan on getting a hayward Aquanaut 200 as well..Will they be compatible?

The motor is a hayward sp3400vsp (or vspvr). Looking online, a new one runs upwards of $1,000. That's nuts.

For a rebuild, any idea what I should be expecting out of pocket?
