That said, I love the added power and it's quite the luxury knowing any and every car you ride by knows exactly where you are.
The only advice I can offer is don't get your hopes up regarding a "cure."

Get yourself some ear plugs designed for music- you can still talk and hear everything really well without making your tinnitus worse.
I can't recommend a small earplug enough. If you're in an open office/noisy place cutting down the background noise makes a huge difference and, generally, the earplugs don't make it so you can't hear conversation directed at you.

These are the ones I got. I usually use the small ones when I ride since they're more comfortable. If I know I'm going to be doing highway riding more than a few miles I use the larger ones.
