The Q&A says those are 120 lumens, but I don't know how reliable that is. If that is accurate, you could definitely go brighter. These are the lights that I use and they're each 400 lumens, so quite a bit brighter than yours if the specs are correct. I typically use the strobe function on the red light and then a slower flash on the front.
Edit: I would also say to attach the light and/or reflector to the rack directly if it is not visible on your seat post.
Me too, though I was able to find a very reasonable light set on amazon for $20. Works great!

I've been through 3 of them because people keep stealing them... I keep forgetting to replace the hand screws with nuts and bolts.
Anyways, recently I bought this one as the front light. It actually surprised me when I first turned it on. The rear light is garbage though.
