I think it would really depend on the competency of both people with cameras as well as the subject matter.
Personally I would use film, maybe one b/w disposable camera (C-41 and can be processed anywhere) and then a traditional film camera. Viewing the prints at a later time would add to the experience as well as provide a take home item.
