This or Inland Professional 1TB for a secondary SSD? (Storage, mostly games). I have a 850 EVO boot drive but looking to upgrade my storage SSD from 480GB. Both the Silicon Power and Inland are $89.99/1TB, which is better?

Best bang for buck would be a new SSD drive and a minty-fresh install of Win10. You'll notice the difference immediately. Try this one from Amazon:

Great choices! Only two changes I would make is get the 2700x for $129.99 from Micro Center, and their brand SSD. It's 1TB for the same price as the Samsung. They also have smaller sizes for cheaper in store and on their site. I have 2 of them in my PC; they are great! You can also get the NVME 500gb for cheaper than the 860 evo. You're spending $80 on 2 drives and ending up mainly with a slow laggy hdd.

It made sense to buy 2 drives when a 1tb ssd cost $500, but nowdays it's not worth it until you need 2tb or more.

Hey NewMaxx, I really appreciate all the hard work you do to keep us informed, you have influenced a lot of my purchases I make for me and my friends, and I can't thank you enough, but thank you so much! Anyway, I recently ordered an Xbox One X, and I was planning to replace the internal HDD with an SSD. It uses a 2.5" drive and thankfully has SATA III, and I was looking at either the Inland Professional 1TB SSD or the MX500 1TB. This will be for the OS and games, and the drive has to have a capactiy of at least 1TB for formatting purposes. Will the Inland be good enough for those purposes, or should I spend $20 more and get the MX? Thanks again, I appreciate your time.
