This clay mask is pretty popular.
Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Mask
I actually do something similar to the fiddy snails method, in that I use an enzyme mask or at very least put a thick layer of AHA on my face 30 minutes before using this mask. I often use the Red Box Stridex for the AHA and that is also available on Amazon. I feel like that extra step clears the openings of the pores and loosens the guck and helps the volcano mud really suck all the oil out. I leave it on until the whole mask is absolutely bone dry and cracking, even though it says to wash off within a few minutes, I don't think it works as effectively unless you let it fully fully fully dry.
When I have a flair of ccs, I do this twice a week and they dry up in no time.
Aztec Secret Healing Clay Mask is a good option. You get a HUGE Tube for the price. The downside is that you have to mix it. I would follow the directions on the tub, but use the Apple Cider Vinegar recipe that’s mentioned as it applies better. Be sure not to use a metal spoon or cup to mix the ingredients. You can also purchase this at your local Whole Foods.
Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is a popular option if you don’t want to mix anything.
Hello SCA, I'm a 25yr male that wants to improve his skin, I have dry skin with Sebaceous Filaments. I've been lurking for a while and reading a lot, I want to compile all of my knowledge and do a review of my routine going forward. Please take a look and let me know if there are areas of improvement.

Thanks SCA! This whole thing is very new to me and I feel like a lot of these key words are very foreign to me, but I'll get there!
Hello! Welcome to AsianBeauty!
I would agree with /u/zhene about the Epiduo. It seems that Epiduo is both a retinoid and exfoliant, so we would include it in the "actives" part of our skincare routine lineup, which you can read more about here since AB involves a lot of layering of products anyway. For actives, it's best to wash your face, then wait about 10-15 minutes before applying, then wait for another ~20 minutes to ensure maximal effectiveness of the active, especially if it's pH dependent.
As for oily skin with big pores, it's important to first make sure that you don't actually just have dry skin, since dry skin often becomes oily in order to "compensate" for the lack of moisture. I'd tackle the problematic oiliness with a clay mask -- my personal favorite is the Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask, used once or twice a week.
I think a safe bet for a good hydrating lotion for both oily and dry types regardless would be a light application of Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion. I don't currently have this in my rotation because I'm working my way through other products, but I used this all throughout high school and early college for my oily skin, and it was very hydrating and light. It's almost water-like, and never made me more oily. Some people even use this as a serum for masks!
I personally used this by itself instead of an essence before I started looking for products to address other problems, so if you're using an essence, I would just be light on the application if you feel like your skin is sufficiently hydrated.
I use [Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F5NVSIA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6AuxDbAEDXZ5V) semi-regularly before I shower and it tends to minimize my nose pores. (Those are the holes you're referring to.) I found some multi-product routine that is supposed to help minimize pores. I never got into the habit of using all the products, but that clay mask stuff is decently helpful on its own.
Hello~ I've been stalking the Korean beauty industry for years, but have never committed due to random reasons. I want to try my hand at it next year (need to use up my stupidly expensive Sephora products). Here's a routine I created - mostly from Snow White & The Pear's reviews. For the record, I have eczema (thanks god, no flares right now) and sensitive (contact allergies), oily skin. I know. How can I have eczema and oily skin? OTL
I'm not sure if the order and frequency of use is correct, so please help me! And yes, these are a lot of products for a beginner, so I think I'll start with only one toner first then work my way up to using more essences. Suggestions for cleansers and toners would also be nice, since I'm not sure if the Clinique thing is intended as a cleansing toner. I also have a question about sebaceous filaments? Is it alright to get rid of them with nose masks? Would it make my pores bigger? I feel like my nose pores are huge and my buddies are EXTREMELY visible. Recommendations on peeling masks and other masks would be great too, as I'm not really sure what kind of masks I would need?
