Got this case from Amazon three weeks ago and really like it. Not fully leather but slim profile with protection all around the phone. Looks good IMO too.
I made the mistake of not buying a case when I picked up my X from the Apple Store and so later on that day, jumped into Best Buy for one of the cases on sale. I picked a Speck Presido Sport in red which looked okay (if a little bulky), but it had absolutely no button feel at all (and double tapping the power button to install apps was almost impossible). Subsequently I ordered a couple of cheap cases from Amazon to try - one is a silicon case clone which arrived yesterday and I really like (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075JFKTZW), and the other is a fake-leather backed case that looked interesting (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074YL6SLF) - the latter has yet to arrive so I can't comment on that one yet.
I do like the feel of the phone sans-case and have Apple Care but i feel that the X is just too fragile (and likely to show scuffs too easily) to go without a case. I may end up getting an ultra-thin case to protect from scratches (and just rely on Apple Care to take care of anything more severe).
