Don't buy anymore earbuds. Jbuds are awesome and the fit is a lot more comfortable. I went through 3 pairs of Apple Earbuds in the span of about 5 months b/c they suck (painful and they break). I've since bought the Jbuds and haven't had to replace them in over a year.

I bought these headphones a while back and have loved every minute of them.

In fact, I bought two pairs because I usually tend to go through earbuds really fast (wrapping them around my mp3 player, the wires frey and such). However, I've still been using my first pair since I bought them about 9 months ago. Highly recommended.

The JBuds ear buds always get good ratings on Amazon, and they're only $8.50

I'm really rough on my earbuds, too. I have Apple ones but they get terribly uncomfortable after 10 minutes or so. I'm currently using a set of Jbuds that I really like--they're comfortable and block out a sufficient amount of noise on planes for me to be very happy with them. And, if you're in the US, Amazon has them listed at a major discount.
