Wow. So not worth it. None of these even have a follow focus attachment. They don't even have it as an option. If you want to spend this much on these things, just buy a redrock micro. If you want to be super cheap about it, go with this heavy duty gorillapod

It's the strongest one they make. My friends and I did some tests. It does a fantastic job eliminating shake. Almost on par with my $1,300 redrock micro eyespy.

> P.S - any tips to shoot inside a moving car?

You can stick action cams to suction cups inside the car. Also using the a7 on a strong gorilla pod like this one works well when the pod is wrapped tight around the head rest of whatever seat you want to place it on. I've done that a few times.

For reference, it's these:

Poles: http://www.amazon.com/FastCap-Support-System-144-Inches-3HAND5/dp/B000067S12/

Pole mounts: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5M39AW/

I do like the 2 points of contact. It's something I've been considering. I plan on, at least initially, taking my setup all over (my own personal 'world tour') to show people, so I've been looking for portable equipment that could also be used in my own 'permanent' setup. (One issue with the poles might be if you're somewhere with drop ceilings.)

My other thought is to get a couple GorillaPods (note re: weights, I know the lighthouses are light, but I figure the beefier the Pod, the less likely it'll move over time or allow vibration):

http://www.amazon.com/JOBY-Gorillapod-Zoom-Tripod-Cameras/dp/B000KFRSG4/ (6lbs)

http://www.amazon.com/Gorillapod-Focus-Camera-Tripod-Black/dp/B001GCU0MY/ (11lbs)

That way if someone has a lamp, shelf, or curtain rod, I'd be set. There might be scenarios where it wouldn't work, though.

The names are misleading. You need the biggest one they make for a DSLR - Gorillapod Focus. $90 without a head. Unfortunately, it's not quite as compact anymore as the smaller ones, but there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Thank you! 😁

Sorry, it's a 15" Macbook Pro and the Gorillapod is that bendy tripod thing.

And yeah, I use the 14-42mm the most just because it's the most versatile specially when you're trying to talk to the camera. Sometimes I keep my GF7 with the 20mm on my side just so I can do a few "cinematic" shots. I feel like the 12-35mm is gonna lessen the need of that. I'm just waiting on how the prices are gonna be since they just released a new version.

If you're not planning on talking to the camera then those lenses should be completely fine. You should be able to get some awesome shots and create a cool montage! And let me know how that goes and send me your channel. I'll check it out! 😄

Btw, are you talking about this kind of pottery? 😂
