These things, are cheap and easy to use and can often be all that is needed to get a drain working again. As a lifelong renter I have had one of these because it only takes 5 minutes to use it and I can't be arsed to call my landlord over something trivial like this. If this doesn't work then the clog in your drain isn't in your suite and a real plumber would be required. Plus you can get a chance to see some really really grimy stuff using one of these, which can be fun.
