If you want to get the best performance you can, I would recommend getting a laptop cooling pad. When a computer had to do a lot of work it generates heat, in order to protect it self from overheating your computer will purposely slow it's self down. Getting a laptop cooling pad will help with heat generation and is the cheapest and easily thing you can do to get a performance boost from your laptop.

So this is the fight between specifications, price and quality/durability. Titanium version GPU it's better of course, you can check this GPU benchmark compare. In this price range both competitors are good, they have own pluses and minuses. Im thinking about durability so I would choose Dell, but if you need a beast with a good specifications you can go with Acer Nitro there is opportunities to cool laptop with cooling pads etc.
I have a buddy who is getting into PC gaming, he got a decent gaming laptop a while back 2nd hand but it is having massive overheating problems, I am going to give it a dust/clean but was goign to get him one of them cooling pads
Another option is I could sell him my older gaming PC but I cant think on a fair price for both of us as on paper the specs are very close, but in reality with the cooling problems the laptop has the desktop preforms much better. Too expensive and it is not a worth wile upgrade, too cheap and I'm losing out.
