I wear my fugly black Klogs to work every day. They came with awesome removable insoles, are made of synthetic/man made material (easy to clean), and show no signs of wear despite having been worn almost daily for 5 months (I am not gentle on shoes). My typical outfit is a pair of black dress pants, a blouse or knit shirt with a sweater or some kind of drapey top. I'm kind of in a rut with my work clothes, but it's a comfortable rut so I don't fight it too hard. I don't tend to wear heels or women's dress shoes on a daily basis because I wear a 10-11 wide so it's hard and/or expensive to find nice shoes.
