Agreed. My buddy's father had one in his cabin (now his house)... I hated it.

I bought a 7ish inch shower head (KOHLER K-10282-AK-CP Forte Single-Function Katalyst Showerhead, Polished Chrome https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B003BIFGUM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JspwCbMKH5ZQP) and a shower head riser (my shower head was 6ft high at best without one, so as a 6 ft tall guy it sucked) and it's amazing.

I spent a week at a mansion (legit, that place was incredible) with these (or similar) shower heads courtesy of a friend and figured if nothing else one of these would add a good bit of daily luxury to my place for not much money. Totally worth it if you have enough water pressure to support 2.5gpm.

Now I just need a hot water heater instead of my old ass furnace based tankless system so I don't run out of hot water all the time in the winter... Saving up but idk if I'd rather a nice new wood stove or hot water.. Haha
