I've owned this Krups grinder for well over 10 years, as have others in my family.

This is what I have. Not a burr but for the price, can't beat it.

White electric blade grinder from Krupps. Hey, look -- they still sell it!

Get a cheap electric grinder like this one. The difference between a hand grinder and an electric in terms of taste isn't that big, and it saves a lot of time. You don't need to clean it often and shouldn't use soap more than like once a month because keeping the oils around is good.

My Aeropress recipe takes about 2min, but there's another 5min waiting for the water to heat up. It's crazy crazy easy to clean. Run some cold water over it if you just pressed, pull out the plunger just slightly to pull the grounds off the filter, unscrew the cap, pop the puck into the trash/compost, then just wash with water. You don't need to wash the inside because the plunger squeegees it.

I'd highly recommend a gooseneck kettle. There are cheap options and it gives you so much more control. If you have a kitchen, a stove top one and a thermometer can give you even more control. I personally find that 80C water makes a huge difference, but it depends how obsessive you want to get.
