You could draw a "template" with an eyeliner pencil and then fill in with a liquid eyeliner... Having an eyeliner brush might help too.

For eyeliner, applying dark colored eyeshadow on a stiff angled brush works well, as well as eyeliner stamps. With those, you can get a perfect wing with little effort. I would consider the eyeshadow method over the liquid liner, because it's easier. It's also a great way to use up those eyeshadow shades that are typically untouched. If you do choose to use the liquid liner, I would use tape to create a sharper wing. I personally have never used eyeliner stamps, but they look so easy to use. I am pretty new to makeup myself.
