Initially thought you said 7 months old and was a little scared. Re-read and saw it said 7 weeks?! He's still just getting used to being on the outside. Do you show him toys at all? We found that once we started showing little man captain calamari around that age, he really lit up! We'd make the toy 'talk' to him in silly voices. We've found out that our guy is just kind of intense all around, but some babies are just mellow.
Like others have said, rolling over is much farther in the future, as is laughing. Our LO is almost 5 months and only recently started intentionally rolling from back to side... he hates tummy time so he doesn't go all the way over lol.
My son is 12 weeks old, and I'm currently his favorite toy. My hair is fun to grab and pull, my thighs and boobs are great to kick, and my face is pretty hilarious.
