Hello, do you have a budget? I did some research myself recently too, you may want to check out this model. It has Core i7-7700HQ / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / 16GB / 512GB. Pretty decent config.
You said your max is 1.5k so why not this one only 4.2 lbs, and with decent battery life and great specs.
Edit: since you want a lenovo laptop what about this Y720, it has the specs you wanted Intel Core i7-7700HQ / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / 16GB / 512GB SSD and within budget, battery life is average not as high as you want(4-6 with light to moderate usage) but it is a good option.
If you are looking to game and want the absolute best performance with pretty good build quality and don't mind the screen( which is nothing special), I would go with:
Lenovo Legion Y720 - 15.6" Gaming Laptop Computer (Intel Core i7- / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / 16GB / 512GB / Windows 10 Signature Image) 80VR0078US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVQ7SQL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_U-kLzbPPBMMQJ
Yeah that one looks like the winner.
I wish this Lenovo had reviews though, that 512gb SSD would be amazing
