Hey dude, love the look of these. I currently rock these (currently $90, I bought mine on amazon for $43!) many hours a day and love em, except for a few things which I hope you might be able to answer. They're all related so I won't do a list per se.

They cannot play music & be charged at the same time. One can physically plug in the charger and wear it (somewhat uncomfortably!) but the software doesn't allow it. I spoke to LG and they said that they have no ability to discuss this with their manufacturing team, i.e. "we make them, but we have nothing to do with making them so tough". To let you know they're running low on battery they start beeping, once every... 15 seconds? Which is a pretty reasonable thing but it would be nice to be able to tweak it. So: do you think you'll make the firmware flashable so if you make improvements, early adopters can upgrade?

The other thing is: what are you doing about USB Type C? It'll have launched early 2015 so assumedly new products will start coming out with that format instead. Just something you should probably be thinking about. Because I'm the dullest man alive I even started some discussion about this here.

Finally, since I'm on a roll, earbud comfort. I've found the LGs to be AMAZING for fit, sliding in nicely and forming a great seal for bass. BUT, I'm aware that people's ears are different. Because of the rave reviews I recently bought some Xaomai Piston Mk IIs, which come with 4 earbud tip sizes. But the problem is that the thick noise pipe within the tip, and the shallow pipe with wide headphone body, means that I can't manage to get them to get a deep seal, and attempting to do so means forcing them into my skull. I don't know how constructive this feedback is, but just thought it might be worth you guys picking up a pair of both of these sets and playing around with the differences?

Best of luck with everything, looks like an awesome project.
Oh, and one last thing, I know you said about the battery; for someone who's unlikely to do much recording but likes the form factor and the noise cancelling and the ability to records in 3D occasionally, pretty much my whole usage will be listening to music. Any idea how long you might expect to get out of the battery in that case, vs your current test cases of listening AND recording?

Cheers!

The most impressive thing I have done so far would be to go to college while in high school. Last year as a senior in high school I was able to complete a full year of college at a big university!!!

The thing that would make my day would be http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-HBS-700W-Wireless-Bluetooth/dp/B00829E7XC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1HD1ZMVV81WP2&coliid=I237XL4JGQ1CFB [sorry I don't know how to put a link on a word :( ] Why do I want this? The headphones I have right now are kinda crap and these would be amazing to have seeing as I am a college student now!

I usually wear a pair of bluetooth headphones (like this one) with only one earbud inserted.

I don't have any music playing or anything, so all I get is the navigation cues. It doesn't mess with my ability to hear traffic or other riders.

These Bluetooth headphones. I always listen to music wen I'm doing things around he house, but I don't like to play my music out loud.

That freaking cord get tangled on a lot of things...
