I did a lot of research on what "is" good versus what "looks" good, and came down to these for my own purposes. All of these are blue because, well, my Vita's blue!

Carrying case - excellent padded protection on the inside, and room for a few games (little pouches).

Screen protector - these fit perfectly, and are glass.

Case on Vita itself -this one I found on a Chinese website, and it took about a week and a half to arrive, but the quality is fantastic for the price; comes in a variety of colors too. Complements the blue Vita very nicely.

My rationale for having all of these is pure longevity. I want the system to look and feel new for as long as possible.

Yes it is! Although they are not easy to find depending on your model. It's easier to find the 1000 on Amazon if it isn't sold out. But you can find one on playasia for about $28 but tax and shipping and whatnot. I was blessed to have one thanks to my lady but it was almost $50 but for my Vita it's worth it.

My brother has this and I fit mine with the cover and while a bit tight it held the Vita in well.

Now this has everything you need with the cover and a case for it but for the Vita only and no cartdriges or chargers. While pricey it does an affective job.

This is where you can get a face cover. You can go to decal girl if you want to make your own which is around $17 if I'm right but they have sales from time to time. You can try Amazon as they have really cheap ones.
