Yeah - an anti-fatigue mat made a HUGE difference. I spent some time researching and found this one (which I can vouch for as awesome) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JGLH3MM

I like it a lot and use it for crunches and other things (watching TV, computering, etc). It's been about 3 weeks and standing/moving has become the default in my brain - sitting seems okay but after about 30 minutes I feel the itch to stand and move again.

And I have been totally a non-mover/sitter for 19 years. Desk-jobs, driving, couches - all of it up until recently. Never felt better in my life.

Also, I traded my couch for this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009QHLWUK - it feels like being in the jetsons. Watching TV is a lot more fun now because I feel good when all the shows are over.

Oops sorry I missed this. Don't have a photo of it with the treadmill handy, but here's what it looked like before the treadmill:

The treadmill is one specifically built for being used at a desk, so it's super quiet: http://www.amazon.com/LifeSpan-TR1200-DT3-Standing-Desk-Treadmill/dp/B009QHLWUK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407343223&sr=8-1&keywords=TR1200+DT3

(I work from home so it's handy to have all this stuff anyway)
