I've gone ahead and bridged my Time Warner supplied modem to my own personal router. Things across the board seem to work better for me. Haven't really tried Destiny any more though.

PapaSmiff - Bridging simply means turning the Modem-and-Router combination device that your ISP supplied and turning it into a Modem-only. It's sort of like turning off all of the routing capabilities but leaving the network ports turned on. Then, you supply your own (usually higher quality) router to handle the network routing. You still need the modem to take the Coax signal in and turn it into an ethernet signal for your router so the device is still connected but otherwise you're "bridging" right across it.

Make sure you do some research and pick a good router. Keep in mind more expensive does not always equal better. For my money, this has been a great router: http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-EA3500-App-Enabled-Dual-Band-Wireless-N/dp/B007IL6OR2

there is a 20 page thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/222880/discussions/1/624076751568924991 so its not just me.
I was just curious if anyone else on here is having the issue and fixed it. I have tried the suggested fixes but none worked
