Livescribe pens are good. They combine notes with recordings of the professor. Basically, you can later go back and click on something in your notes, and it will play back what the professor was saying at that point. It's great for example problems.
I would look into getting one of those. They're great.

That one is ~$150, but there are a couple of slightly cheaper models. Either way, they're great.
The only thing is to make sure your professor is okay with being recorded--some are not.
