Logitech C270 gets 1280x720 @ 30 FPS source while a PS3 camera gets 640x480 @ 60FPS, and 320x240 @ 120 FPS source.
So it depends on whether you want high FPS or high res.
I've heard a lot of good things about the C920 as a proper webcam but honestly I grabbed the cheap Logitech C270 from Amazon it's doing the job pretty well - I've just worked out how to get around the 16FPS problem (I think) and if that works it'll likely be even better :)

Personally, I'm using a Logitech C270. It's a 720p webcam which imo is good enough and pretty much a budget cam.
