I have a Tecknet bluetooth mouse. I use this Chrome extension to help make the mouse (almost) usable. Biggest issue I have is page jumping when using the scroll wheel. Even with this extension it still happens far too often. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chromium-wheel-smooth-scr/khpcanbeojalbkpgpmjpdkjnkfcgfkhb
I finally gave up on Bluetooth and started using a Logitech M187 mini wireless mouse. I don't particularly like having a USB receiver plugged in, but at least I don't grind my teeth anymore! https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Mouse-Pocket-Portable-Laptops/dp/B0093H4XG8/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_147_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4Z1DSZ26TCTCWDCRC69E
This is great advice \/
>Suggestion: If you can...buy the M720 from a place with a good return policy and try it out with your Chromebook. If it works, then great! If it doesn't, maybe troubleshoot it through this subreddit. If that doesn't work and things just don't work out, return it.
Ah okay, gotcha. I think you're going to be pretty hard pressed to find a flagship mouse that's going to fit such a small hand.
I really think a travel mouse is going to be your best option, but maybe someone else has some higher tier recommendations.
Here's mine.
I find that I can use a very small mini mouse comfortably with a laptop if I use the flat area next to the trackpad as my mousepad. However I do have smallish hands so your mileage may vary.
This is the kind of mouse I'm talking about: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093H4XG8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
