Not pictured: I've changed the cable to black (since they now have MFI USB-C -> Lightning cables). Also there is a cable clip also behind the tablet to catch the cable. The cable is also tucked in more into the side console.
As for snaking the cable, I will take some pictures later. See this item (pic #4) to see how they snake the cable from the armrest console into the center console, *without taking apart the entire console*. In this scenario, the seller is selling a 12V car cigarette extension cable with QC 3.0 charging adapter at the end, in order to get 7.5W/10W/15W Qi wireless charging into the center console.
My setup is, so instead of using a QC 3.0 extension cord, I purchased a slim/flush low-profile USB-PD 12V adapter, and a USB-C extension cable. Note that the cable will get 'crushed' so it is a throwaway cable until it deteriorates. Cable is cleanly wrapped/tucked into side console and extension hooked up into lightning cable.
Hey! Just picked up my Model 3 this week and I've purchased the following, all of which I highly recommend:
Most of the wireless chargers for the model 3 have the standard slow charging if connected to the usb, and a faster charge if you get it connected to the cigarette lighter. The limit seems to be the built in usb output that is next to the charger pad area. I have a wireless that comes with a cigarette lighter. It is now much faster than my old one, claiming to be up to 15w depending on the phone being charged which I could believe through my usage so far.
