To the Apple's Core, a very detailed read that primarily focuses on the software side.

It's more software/code/OS based... so don't expect much Hardware coverage in it.
I'm not sure what to suggest for a hardware-history or current hardware-troubleshooting tips. I'm sorta inclined to suggest the official Apple Certified Training Kit: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA714Z/B/applecare-technician-training
