Cradle series by Will Wight . Amazing series that has good audiobooks. Cant recommend it enough. Not pure litrpg but a progression fantasy which shares similarities to the genre

Speaking of audiobooks in general I would recommend Wool by Hugh Howey. Its a post apocalyptic drama so rather different from the genre you are interested in however it is simply an amazing read with incredible plot twists. There is also a prequel and sequel once you are done with it

Edit:

If you enjoyed Ready Player One than pick up Masters of Doom a crazy biography of the two creators of Doom games and founders of Id software. Its narrated by the same guy who narrated Ready Player One and has the same rush of pop culture and nostalgia. A very easy and fun read despite being non-fiction. Honestly this is like a sister book for RPO

Edit 2:

The Martian is a must read for any sci-fi fan and is an outstanding audiobook.

I listened to an audiobook while driving a year ago, Master's Of Doom. An amazing story and incredibly entertaining to listen to the story of my childhood heroes. Memorable quote:
> The computer. It contained worlds.

I'm hindering the conversation?

If that were the case, you wouldn't have bothered to reply. Go on stroking it the idea that you're oppressed and that rockstar hates you. Let me know how productive that conversation goes.

If my opinion differs from you, I must be stupid or paid?

When Vice City came out, My friends and I would pass the controller around just watch each other play singleplayer, running around shooting cops, driving cars off jumps.. it was the coolest thing ever. We never expected more content to show up, we just wanted to explore and see what we could find.. We couldn't imagine being able to play all in the same game at once.. And now I get to do that with those same friends even though their in different states, we get into a posse, go fishing, steal wagons, hunt wolves and get into shootouts in a saloon.

I'm just calling out the circle-jerk, its a Meme on this subreddit to talk about how miserable it is to play this game. and I thought I would bring in some perspective of time and understanding.

The whole "Rockstar Hates it's players" meme is toxic, and doesn't solve anything...

Another perspective to add, Last year I read the Jared Kushner book, Jacked, which is some history of early rockstar, written after the "hot-coffee " incident and before Reddead Redemption one was even released. You'll see that RockStars founders are gamers themselves, and want to make the games they want to play. On the gamer book front, I have to recomend Master's of Doom too, also by Kushner

The shitty thing about this is, I want more too. I want heists and story content.. I want a god damned Undead nightmare sequel, and I get upset when I disconnect when I've got a 3star carcass and a bunch of pelts heading back to the butcher, I get upset hopping onto Rockstar's website, hoping I might see an update, and there is, except its for GTAO.... We're on the same side as consumers, I'm just not making it personal, and when I see others doing so, I try to offer perspective in a world that's in the dark as to when new content is coming.
