I would make sure it’s clear that hacking your body because you’re transgender is different than hacking your body because you think cybernetic implants are cool. i.e. feeling the need to fix our bodies because our secondary sex characteristics are wrong is not the same as getting an artificial limb or getting a neural port to sync with computers.
Having said that, transgender people are more likely to also be transhumanist. I think it’s because we have experience hacking our bodies. Like I hacked my endocrine system with hormone injections and surgeons hacked my dick into a vagina and hacked my vocal cords into producing a higher-pitched voice, so getting medical nanites for faster healing doesn’t seem as big a deal.
