You should get yourself a medication dispenser that locks and give the key to your significant other, housemate, or just put it in a safety deposit box or something.

That one is a lot more expensive than some of the other ones, but it provides a much better dispensing and locking mechanism.

If you are snorting or otherwise taking the meds in a way you shouldn't be, definitely stop doing that ... likewise the first day you fill your meds avoid splurging. I know the temptation is hard to overcome with the knowledge that you have plenty of meds ... but it starts you down a path where you don't have enough IR meds when you actually need them ... and starts you taking a higher dose than you should every day rather than just that first one.

I guess the last one is just stop using your meds for recreational purposes. If you find yourself taking more than prescribed for actual legitimate reasons, and still find yourself running short early ... then it's probably time to talk to your doctor about escalating your dosage. Though if you are escalating your dose for recreational purposes, having your doctor give you a higher dose likely will only exacerbate the issue ... resulting in you continuing to take higher doses even on top of the larger script. Which would be no good.
