Two words: powdered collagen.

My hair wasn't damaged by a nutritional deficiency, but I've always had fine hair & it was pixie-short for a few years.

My boyfriend got me a sample of collagen powder from his job. I was excited because it's good for your skin, but holy crap have I noticed a difference in my hair.

It's gotten thicker and stronger, and seems to be growing faster (I've been growing it out for months). I haven't changed anything diet or haircare-wise other than the collagen powder, and other people have commented on how much more full my hair looks.

So I'd say give it a go. Only downside: it's not super-cheap. Think +/-30 bucks for a pound, which lasts a month ish. But a dollar a day isn't too bad, amirai?
