Hooking up astro's to the computer is super easy if you have the 2013 mix amp. All you need to do is plug a jack from the livestream port into your computers mic socket. Then, in the mp3 port, plug a jack into that and connect it to your PC's headphone port.

You will need to buy a mic though, otherwise if you use the astro mic to talk, your team/friends will hear themselves and your game. You can buy decent mics for under £20.

Below, I will link one which I use to use and can guarantee amazing quality:

I thought I would be a nice guy and give you both ebay and Amazon choices, as well as giving you the correct website (.co.uk or .com) to buy from :)

Hope this helped :)

Sorry for the low quality, picture is taken from my phone, anyway it's a bit mix and match until I get some more cash but this is my current set up:

Aw man you get static with x11's? I get static with my x12's though to be honest it's not really that noticeable. Anyway I found a few cheap-ish mics on Amazon.

(whilst it's not a headset, I can vouch for the quality since I used it for a year)
2: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plantronics-GameCom-Closed-Gaming-Headset/dp/B001E42QYE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1334185153&sr=8-2
(not quite as cheap but it looks pretty decent)

(If I remember correctly, this is what Syndicate used before he got his Blue Yeti mic)

If you're going to plug it into a LAN port you already have installed, or something like a powerline adapter, then you don't need a wi-fi adapter. I was just giving you one because in your original build you posted you had added a USB wi-fi adapter. All of these parts I used are basically equal in quality to what you had previously linked. MSI are a very reputable brand, and I have this exact graphics card and it's a belter for a price.

If you could find some extra money (perhaps what you save without a wifi card) you should grab a better mouse, too. I would also recommend the Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 over the headset you picked. It's a really great USB headset for the price.

If you're unsure about your internet connection, it's easy to add a USB wifi card later. Again, I'd avoid the super cheap ones because they have generally got worse signal/range than the more expensive options. I bought a £15 adapter before I switched to LAN, and it worked just great.

What do I use as a mic? Either a blue snowball or I play a lot of racing games and my wheel has force feedback so it's not good for that, so I use my Razer Kraken 7.1 when playing racing games. Both are more than £10 though.

I've heard this is an awesome mic for the money though: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000JSDOMO/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1404860281&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40

Bought a pair of These the other week, they work great.

Never seen the need to go with an expensive pair for gaming, especially a razer headset.

If you're looking for a budget headset I'd recommend the Microsoft LX 3000 (link is UK but you should be able to find it in CA or US)

I tend to be a bit messy at times and so my headphones (as above) end up on the floor at times and I'm just gonna say they do not like being stood on (on my second set)

Youtubers such as TheSyndicateProject and Baumi have both given their props out to this headset.

The sound is great but they can get a bit uncomfortable on the top of my head and ears after 8+ hours of wear but your mileage may vary.

I've found this one to be remarkably good considering it's price, it's what we both use on our channel.
