If you're like me, this is probably the start of your new hobby.
Handmade Modern is a nice book for starter mid-century projects, and Popular Woodworking has a good book for more advanced stuff (although double check their numbers, as I've found inaccuracies). I've also found amazing projects in 1960s shop class books in the antique/collectible section at Half Price Books.
Menards also has tapered legs you can buy.
