Dang, that sucks.. I would first try to get a replacement through CBid. If no good, get yourself a barbed cigar tool. Way better than a bamboo skewer. The barbed rod is pretty thin and doesn't crack the wrapper like a bamboo skewer does. Stick it in, turn it a bit, pull it out, and it tears tiny bits of tobacco out from the cigar and so far completely unplugs a cigar in one go.
