I used to have this same problem! I would peel them and then bite them. I know bad habit! I mom told me to try Biotin. It is a vitamin, i'm not sure if you've tried it or not. For the longest time I ignored her, how right could she be?
I was wrong and I'm glad to say it! I finally tried it and I seriously can't even bite my nails anymore. I tried all of those hardening/strengthening nail polishes too and they were just a hassle. I take biotin at night but you can take it at any time and that's it! My nails look amazing. They do start to peel when I forget for a few days but then I just start taking them again.
