If you can, purchase bluetooth headphones that aren't easily noticeable. Then she wont see when you have them on and you can listen to your music without her judgment and control.

Check the battery limits, I use the 6 hour type (2 hours exists also). Works great
Nothing I can do to make your job easier. At my store, we're allowed to listen to music in the back during slow hours and if managers are chill and as long as we keep one in and the sound not too high.. Obviously I'm not telling you to disobey management, but, hypothetically, you could use a very discrete bluetooth headphone. Something like this. I recommend keeping only one in and popping it out when a manager comes to your side. Good luck.

I think you're not understanding the Bluetooth I'm speaking of. It is a small earbud size earpiece, that doesn't connect to anything, it's Bluetooth. Like this
